MINIMAL TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

It is necessary that the conditions of the space and all the following categories be discussed with the artist and/or the production supervisor prior to final contract arrangements.

  1. STAGE SPACE
    Ideal stage size is 36 feet wide (11.2m) x 30 feet deep (9.14m); minimum size is 30 feet wide (9.14m) x 24 feet deep (7.2m)

  2. FLOOR
    The Floor must be a sprung wood floor not concrete, marble, stone, or wood laid directly over any of these hard surfaces. The floor must have no obstructions, protrusions, holes, or like imperfections. A marley or similar dance floor covering may be required at the discretion of the Company and/or the production supervisor (cloth floor tape to be provided by the sponsor). In addition, the floor must be cleaned (swept and damp mopped) before each rehearsal and performance as requested by the Company and/or production supervisor.

  3. LIGHTING EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
    Company requires 72- 2.4k dimmers with computerized light board for control
    Company requires 8 side lighting booms (minimum height +8'-0"). These are set 1 per wing opening. Company uses 2 color full stage front light wash, 2 color full stage back light wash, 4 lighting units per side lighting boom (preferably profiles), 2 color high side light full stage wash, 3 color washes (strip lights or halogen units) on cyclorama, 1 color diagonal front light wash, 1 color diagonal back light wash, 3 downlights positioned at downstage center, center stage, and upstage center as well as a number of specials (approximately 12) that usually require profile units with variable focal lengths. The number of units per stage wash depends on the size of the specific theatre. We can adapt our plot to use PCs or fresnels where necessary.

    After receiving your plan and technical information, Company's Production Supervisor will send Sponsor's Technical Director a light plot designed specifically for your theater. The two should discuss the plot and how to accomplish it.

  4. SOUND EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
    • A CD Player
    • A Mini-Disk Player
    • Cassette Deck for use as back up
    • Complete set of loud speakers adequate for the hall
  5. PERSONNEL / TYPICAL NUMBER OF CREW REQUIRED:
    Company travels with Lighting designer/stage manager. Theatre should provide adequate crew to have light plot pre-hung and circuited prior to company's arrival when possible. Theatre provides adequate number of crew for focus session, sound check and continuation of set up upon company arrival.
