David
Parker
(performer/artistic director) grew up in Lynnfield, Massachusetts
and began studying tap and ballet in Boston while he was a teenager.
He later discovered modern dance while attending Bard College.
After performing in several tap, folk and contemporary dance
companies in New York City, Parker began to make his own dances.

JEFFREY
KAZIN
(performer/general manager) been banging around
with Kathryn and David for 10 years now. In addition to his
slapping, thudding and pointe responsibilities he is the General
Manger and CFO for The Bang Group.

Amber
Sloan
(performer), originally from Northern Virginia,
graduated with a BFA in Dance from the University of Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign. Since moving to New York, she has had pleasure
of working with Sara Hook Dances, David Parker & The Bang
Group, Keely Garfield/Sinister Slapstick, Chris Elam's Misnomer
Dance Theatre, Stephan Koplowitz, and Alexander Gish. Ms. Sloan's
own choreography has been presented at the Krannert Center for
the Performing Arts, in Urbana, IL, and in New York at the dancenow/nyc
festival, Dance Space Center's Raw Material, and Danspace's
Food for Thought at St. Mark's Church. |

Kathy
Kaufmann
(lighting designer) has worked in a variety
of theatrical and dance venues including The Joyce Theater,
BAM, Danspace, City Center, The Kaye Playhouse, P.S. 122 and
Jacob's Pillow. Her recent projects include designs for Gina
Gibney, Jody Oberfelder, Ben Munisteri, The Staten Island Ballet,
Keiko Fujii, The Charles Moore Dance Theatre and Kathy Rose.
Kathy production managed 6 summer events for the Hudson River
Festival at Battery Park City this past summer and teaches at
New York University. |
